If you are a student that needs to attend classes, you would need energy throughout the day because you do not want to feel sleepy or even fall asleep during class. And if you are a person who has a full time job, then you would need even more energy because you will be doing a huge amount of work at the place you work. If you even look tired or yawn in front of your coworkers and your boss, you would receive a bad reputation. Therefore, staying energized throughout the day is very important.
Food is basically energy. If you have food, you have energy. After waking up in the morning, you should eat a good breakfast. I would recommend you to eat complex carbohydrates for breakfast because they stay in your body longer than simple carbohydrates. Brown rice, oat meal, fiber rich cereal, potato, and yam are some of the complex carbohydrates that you should eat. Try not to eat carbohydrates like white rice and white bread because they are not nutritious and they can also make you gain fat easily.
Before you leave the house after eating breakfast, put some food in your backpack or whatever bag you use. Do not believe that one meal is good enough to help you stay energized. You would still need to eat small meals in between big meals like breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For small meals, I recommend almonds, bananas, apples, oranges, cashews, and nutritious protein bars. These food are very convenient to eat and they all contain good nutrients that your body needs. You should eat a small meal every hour.
The best thing about these small meals is that it takes only about a few minutes to finish eating them and by eating small meals, you are telling your body to constantly burn food and this will result in weight loss. The fact is that if you eat a huge meal, your body would not be able to absorb that much and all the things that your body cannot absorb will become fat. Therefore, try to eat small meals as often as possible.
I do not recommend drinking soda for energy because they contain lots of chemicals that are bad for your body. They might be able to provide you with energy, but this kind energy is only temporary. It goes away so quickly and afterwards, you would feel tired again.
Eat the food that I recommend and you will be feeling full of energy throughout the day!
