Lower Live at Corcoran Commons
Lower Live is the main area for food on campus. The Lower Live area also features the Tamarind Grill, which is an on-campus restaurant that serves both Thai and Vietnamese food. Outside of Lower Live there is a stand called Beans Creams and Dreams. This is a favorite for students on-the-go and serves coffee, hot dogs, chips and ice cream. The Lower Live dining hall is probably the largest dining hall on campus and serves a large assortment of great food. They serve made to order meals, meals cooked to your taste and grab-and-go food items. They have a wide variety of foods and even have special dinner nights for different themes. You can buy items for the dorm as well at the Lower Live facility including pint-sized containers, milk cartons, baked goods, snack bars and smoothies, and even made to-go birthday cakes, packs of water bottles and 6-packs of sodas.
Hillside Cafe
Over by the "Million Dollar Staircase" is a great little café called the Hillside Cafe. The Hillside Cafe is a coffee bar and sandwich lounge. They serve coffee and sandwiches all day, and juicy hamburgers in the evening hours. Chips, made to-go sandwiches and salads, cereals, juices, yogurts, and smoothies are also available to students. Many of the students of the college use the Hillside Cafe not only for eating, but for studying as there are comfortable couches, electrical outlets and wireless Internet available.
Lyons Hall Dining
In the basement of Lyons Hall is the Lyons Dining Hall which is located on Middle Campus. Because the Lyons Dining Hall is located near the academic buildings it makes it very easy for students to grab a quick meal between classes. Some of the items on the menu include to-go coffee, sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, cereal, waffles, beverages, and candy.
McElroy Dining at Carney Commons
Over by the freshman and College Road campuses is the McElroy Dining Hall. McElroy is a very large dining hall and they serve a variety of food for sit-down meals and for meals on the go. McElroy also serves food during the late night hours. They are open until midnight, Monday through Friday and to 2 AM on Friday and Saturday.
Stuart Hall
There is another location called Stuart Hall that is located on the Newton Campus of Boston College. The Stuart Hall dining facility serves very similar foods as the McElroy Dining Hall and the Lower Dining Hall.
